Speaker Submission

Northern Voice Canada’s largest Blogging and Social Media conference, now in its 6th year, has opened up our annual call for speakers. If you are unfamiliar with Northern Voice, visit our Saturday Schedule from 2009. The deadline for speaker submissions is March 9, 2010 and you'll be notified by early April whether your talk will be part of the conference or not.

To apply to become a speaker at Northern Voice 2010, complete the form below. We're not looking for vast public speaking or punditry experience -- we want people who are passionate about social media and blogging, and can pass that interest on to the audience.

For more information on the audience, venue, session types, and what we're expecting, check out this page: Information for Speakers.

Your name

Your personal blog, twitter, flickr, friendfeed, .... or some other site, to show us you use the web for personal communication.

Give your talk a title. Not too long, not too short.

What's the talk about? Tell us in enough detail that we can figure out whether it will fit in NorthernVoice, but don't make the abstract so long that we fall asleep while reading it. If you think it would be a good panel, tell us that too, and who else will be on the panel with you. Make your description compelling - we'll be putting the selected abstracts up on the web and people will use them to decide which talk to go to.

Tell us something about yourself that lets us know why you'll give an awesome talk. If this is for a panel, make sure you tell us about everyone on your panel.
